A concealed dressing table. The two doors work together to open and close access to a dressing table. The convenience makes for little less straightening up should guests pop in. The cabinet on the left has a lazy susan for easy access and the three drawer base adds considerable storage.
Two similar vanities but you will notice the one on the left has larger doors and a larger drawer-front in the center. This is a removable false front. By taking out a couple of screws it easily converts to being wheelchair accessible.
Over the years we've done a wide variety of cabinets and other projects for bathrooms and once in a while one that is particularly interesting and challenging comes along. This is one of them that fortunately I still have pictures of. The woodwork is all we can take credit for, the rest of the excellent work was done by others. The large windows you see on the left overlook a very nice view of their lake.
These cabinets and doors were done in quarter-sawn White Oak. The drawers are all dovetailed solid oak riding on concealed full-extension soft-closing slides. The doors use concealed soft-close hinges.
